Advantages of using atingi

  1. Flexible: Whether tutored, self-paced, blended, peer-to-peer, or gamified – atingi enables all instructional formats. Admins can import existing digital content into their course or create it from scratch, and view learner reports. Courses can be made available in the public content library or be non-public exclusively for a specific user group.
  2. Cost-saving: atingi is provided free of charge, including hosting, support and M&E tools and can save up to EUR 200,000 for a 3-year project with LMS requirements.
  3. Time saving: By eliminating the need for design, tendering and setup of a Learning Management System (LMS), a project can be implemented up to 24 months faster by using atingi.
  4. Supported: Benefit from free technical support and guidance of the atingi team, plus exchange with our fast-growing partner network of 200+ GIZ projects and 100+ external partners who are already using atingi.
  5. Scalable: If published in the public content library, your content can reach more than 800,000 registered learners.
  6. Accessible: atingi is browser-based and can be used without installation on any desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Courses can also be accessed offline via our Android app or the ‘atingi box’.
  7. Multilingual: The interface is available in 10 languages and new languages can be added upon request. Additionally, courses can be offered in any language, independent of the system language.
  8. Certified: atingi offers two formats for certification: a customizable PDF-based certification or Open Badges (the latter are suitable for digitally advanced learners).
  9. Quality assured: All our courses are checked for quality and accessibility before publication to make sure that our learners have the best possible experience.
  10. Sustainable: Partners can adapt and reuse existing public courses for their target group in a resource-saving manner via Creative Commons licenses. Also, the atingi platform is here to stay: after 2025 atingi will be institutionalized at GIZ.
