Public Courses
Public courses are openly available on the platform to all registered learners and appear in the public course overview. To ensure a consistent and clear learning experience, these courses follow a common look and feel.
Public courses are designed as fully self-paced learning experiences. They always include a certificate of completion. The certificate is issued based on a knowledge check of the learned content. Learners are guided through the course structure, navigation, and functionality at the beginning of the course.
The maximum seat time for public courses is four hours. Content is structured into modules of approximately 25 minutes each to support flexible and focused learning.
To support accessibility for learners with disabilities and those with low internet connectivity, all audio and video content includes transcripts. Audio and video elements are limited to a maximum length of 10 minutes.
Public courses on atingi are unique. Identical courses cannot be published twice on our public course overview, ensuring a diverse course portfolio for learners.
Further requirements cover the correct technical functionality of all activities and compliance with legal standards. This includes proper citation of third-party and clear labeling of AI-generated content.
Open-Link and Private Courses
Open-Link and Private courses follow the same publication requirements. Courses published under these options are not visible in the public course overview and cannot be found through search by atingi users. Participant enrollment is managed by you or your partner network. The level of control depends on the option you choose.
These courses offer a high level of flexibility in design and format. They do not need to be self-paced. In addition to self-paced courses, you may use community hubs, microlearning formats, or blended offers that support in-person training. You fully define the structure and format of the course.
Assessments and certificates are optional. However, if you choose to offer a certificate of completion for a self-paced course, it must be based on a knowledge check of the learned content. This is required to ensure the validity of atingi certificates.
atingi’s requirements for these publication options mainly focus on technical functionality and legal compliance. This includes correct citation of third-party content and clear labeling of AI-generated content.
Course Publication Process
Please review your preferred publication option and its requirements in the quality assurance (QA) checklist as soon as you start planning your course. Together with your Customer Success Manager, you can align early on whether all criteria can be met or which alternative approach works best before you begin developing the course on atingi. Please note that course length requirements may affect project pricing.
Before you start developing your course, we also recommend reviewing our usability and accessibility guidelines. These guidelines are not mandatory, but they can help you make your course accessible and easy to use for a diverse group of learners.
Next, review the QA checklist for your chosen publication option. Go through each requirement carefully. Once you have set up your course on atingi, you must complete the checklist by confirming that all required standards for your targeted publication option have been implemented. Once the course and checklist are completed, you can submit your course for publication.
Please submit the completed QA checklist to your Customer Success Manager at least 14 days before your planned publication date. Our team will use the checklist to test your course and verify that all requirements are met and that the course works as intended. We will share feedback if adjustments are needed.
Your course will be published on the platform only after it has successfully passed the QA process and meets all requirements.
