Partner pages are simple pages hosted on atingi on which GIZ partners can create to share with their target learners a comprehensive overview of their project's work and all their course offerings published on atingi in a single place. For example: online.atingi.org/local/partner/page.php?id=6.
Please note: this feature is only available to GIZ partners with multiple courses published in the atingi Content Library.
This article summarizes the purpose and functionality of partner pages, including:
- Benefits
- Eligibility
- Accessibility
- Setup
- Review & publication process
1) Overview: benefits of partner pages
Partner pages are designed to provide atingi partners with a centralized place to promote and drive learners to groups of related courses, present learning pathways as a curriculum, effectively reach specific target audiences and better promote their work.
Partner Benefits:
- Better public promotion: of their project/org, vision & curriculum in a structured way
- Visibility: easier for projects to "showcase" their courses to stakeholders
- Resource efficiency: negates need for external web pages, quick implementation
- Improves learner accessibility: central access point to & better understanding of related course groups
- KPI achievement: greater accessibility promotes higher enrollment and course completion rates
- Facilitation of re-use & collaboration: easier to explore other partners’ offerings
Learner Benefits:
-
Improved user experience: by having a central access point to & better understanding of related course groups
2) Who is eligible for a partner page?
Partner pages are currently only offered to GIZ partners with 2 or more courses published in the public or open-link library only. They are not currently offered for the promotion of non-public courses. If you have questions about your eligibility for this feature, please contact your atingi Customer Success Manager.
3) How are partner pages accessed in atingi?
Each page is connected to a single atingi category (in other words, a single partner) and only Category Managers can edit the page.
- Pages are publicly shareable and accessible via URL, including for non-registered users
- atingi guests (non-registered users) who attempt to enroll in a course from the page will first be automatically directed to the registration flow
- Pages are not accessible via the atingi Content Library or search
- Page promotion is the partner’s responsibility
- Page updates are the partner's responsibility to ensure that information is up-to-date and any newly-published courses are added to the page (this is not done automatically)
- After a page is published, any course featured on it will automatically have link back to the page at the bottom of the course description to ease learner navigation, as shown below:
4) Page setup
To create a new partner page, Category Managers should contact their atingi Customer Success Manager with their request and they will create your page. Once the page has been created, access it by clicking on the grid icon in the top right corner of the atingi page and selecting Partner Pages.
On the menu page, click the EDIT button for your page.
To build your new page, fill out all fields with relevant information and graphics, as described below. You can save your progress at any time and continue later.
- Update the page title (required)
-
Add a description (required) that provides learners with a clear summary of your project and comprehensive learning offerings.
The description should include elements such as a summary of your project or organization's purpose/objectives, the target learning groups for your courses and information about your respective courses. If you have distinct course groups or learning pathways, make sure to briefly explain their respective scope, target learnings groups and desired outcomes.
Add your project logo (required) - Upload your logo image file in the field below.
The project logo will be displayed to the left of your page description.
-
Add a backdrop image (required)
The backdrop image will be displayed as a banner image at the top of the page. The page title will be overlayed on the image as shown below.
Image sizing: The size ratio of this image is approximately 1:5 (specifically 5:24,37). If an image with a different ratio is uploaded, it will be cropped.
-
Add external links (optional)
Links to external web pages will be displayed just below the page descriptions, as shown below.
In field #1 add the name you want displayed in the links above. In field #2 add the page URL and then click the ADD button.
-
Add links to alternative language sites (optional)
You have the option of creating another version of your partner page in one of the other atingi system languages (i.e. those available in the "Select Language" menu).
Please note: you must first create a separate version of your page before linking it to another page by copying the URL and clicking the ADD button.
-
Add a course list (at least 1 required)
Course lists are groups of courses displayed in a horizontal list. You can add multiple courses to a list, but only 4 are displayed at a time and users can use arrows to scroll through the list.
To add a new list click ADD ADDITIONAL COURSE LIST.
Then click ADD COURSE.
In the pop-up window, search for the name of the course you wish to add and click it, so it appears blue, then click ADD SELECTED. Repeat the process for any additional courses you want added to the list. Additional course lists can also be added. You can only search for and select course from your own category.
-
Add additional logos (optional)
Here you may add the logos of your implementation, political, content development, funding or other types of partners. This is optional and they will be displayed at the bottom of the partner page.
To ensure logos are displayed correctly and consistently, add each partner logo as a separate image file in the field below.Logo image sizing:
Uploaded logos will be centered vertically for a neat appearance, with a maximum size of 224 pixels wide and 144 pixels high. This size standard creates a balanced look when displaying multiple partner logos. If a logo is smaller than the maximum dimensions, it will be shown at its original size without stretching or distorting it. Thus, all logos maintain their quality, whether large or small, for the same display in partner pages.
Once all required fields in the page template are complete, click the SAVE button at the bottom of the page and review your page text, course lists and external links.
7) Review & publication process
Once your page is finished and saved, inform your Customer Success Manager so they can conduct a quick review to confirm that:- All mandatory data fields are completed (i.e. all except for external links and additional logos)
- The description text is understandable to learners and logically introduces the featured course offerings
- External links are working and appropriate (e.g. relevant to project/e-learning, not linked to for-pay sites for additional courses, etc.)
Once approved, your page will be published, and the URL can be shared freely to your learners and stakeholders.
